The hotel owners are the nicest and most humble people anyone will have the joy of residing with. It’s not often you get to see and chat face-to-face with the business owners. The hotel rooms are spacious enough for groups of four to rest. Having two toilets, two sinks and two showers avoids lines in the morning. The morning breakfasts are well prepared and tasty, maybe some of the best apples, milk, bread, and juice I’ve ever tried. The beautiful scenery around the hotel is a plus. The air is so fresh and water so clean, drinkable from the tap even. If you have kids be sure to get to know the animals, especially the friendly donkey!

They have a room for pilgrims and it’s nice beds, clean and a little kitchen for you to put your food. Definitely would recommend this hostel! Just next to Guggenheim museum too’

Nice to be out of the tourist area. Facilities close by. Great kitchen. Grocery shop close by for groceries. Lively to have an all women’s hostel…very special.

This was a nice spot to stop on the Camino Norte. The price was exceptional, the rooms suited our needs as a group of 9 men walking the Camino. The vending machines were helpful because there was not much available in the small town.The staff was flexible when one of our group needed to check in early. It was a peaceful place.

Albergue Bide-Ona terletak di Portugalete, 7.3km dari Pusat Pameran Bilbao dan 11km dari San Mamés Rail Station. They were very well organized in getting pilgrims settled into their bunks. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of space to hang wet laundry. Someone even made coffee in the morning and gave out small pastries.
