Basecamp Wales offers family-run hostel accommodation in Llanllyfni, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and 30.3 km from Pen-Y-Pass and 8.2 km to the beach at Dinas Dinlle. The staff, especially Tim. Property has been well maintained and very friendly staff as well.

Though it's a mixed dormitory, as a solo female traveller I felt safe. Bathrooms and Dormitory were clean. Breakfast was very delicious! I would love to come back again with friends. Host/ staff were very helpful and friendly. They gave me directions to reach and also local Taxi numbers to reach their place. Though its bit far from the town, I enjoyed the walk back down to the Llanberis.

It's clean, comfortable, and offers good amenities. The plus is that there's a supermarket downstairs where you can check in and buy breakfast items.

Placed at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the YHA Snowdon Pen-y-Pass is surrounded by stunning Welsh landscape in a rural location, with no mobile phone signal - offering guests a break from... I chose YHA firstly for its perfect location. I arrived in the evening just in time to enjoy the sunset. And then I had the best birthday morning enjoying my coffee with a wonderful view before exploring The Miners Track (the path starts literally 10 meters from the hostel). The staff are lovely. And the famous British breakfast (I had veggie version though) kept me energized till the end of my adventure. When I can feel my legs again and decide to do the Snowdon summit one more time, I will not think twice to stay here again.

Private Heated Bedrooms at The Bunkhouse in Snowdonia Perfect for Bikers and Walkers se găsește în Dolgellau, la aproximativ 40 km de Portmeirion și la 38 km de Lacul Vyrnwy. The bunkhouse was everything we needed as a group of lads visiting Dyfi bike park for the wknd. 5min drive into town is perfect for an evening meal, a few pubs and an Indian restaurant to choose from. This is our go to accommodation, our 4th stay to date and won’t be our last. The cottage is a luxury if your happy to splash out :-)

The Heights Bunkhouse is located in Llanberis, in the heart of the village, 100 metres from Lake Padarn and within walking distance of the Llanberis Snowdon Path. We had a lovely time here. Both the staff and the hostel are wonderful!
