Puri Garden Hotel & Hostel is located on Pengosekan Street, in the foothills of Ubud village, the cultural centre of Bali. Loved the overall vibe and services at Puri Garden! You get your money’s worth. Rooms are cozy with twin size beds, staff is super friendly, and it’s easy to meet new friends from all over the world through the activities they organize every day. Would definitely come back!

I’m so glad I booked this hostel! I stumbled upon it last minute after changing my plans and deciding to stay in Ubud, and it turned out to be a great find. The place is brand new, cozy, and beautifully decorated. We stayed in a private room on the second floor, which was perfect. Upstairs, you can grab a beer for a great price and take in the view from the terrace. I didn’t have time to join the yoga sessions, but I noticed other guests were up early doing yoga on the terrace—it looked like a peaceful way to start the day. Downstairs, there’s a charming little kitchen, and the breakfast they served us was fantastic. The fresh passion fruit juice was my favorite—Joni, the owner, told us they pick the fruit right from their own tree, and you can taste the difference. I also want to give a shout-out to Yogi, who was so attentive and welcoming. His breakfast is 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 stars! And if I’m not mistaken, Kodan, the housekeeper, was a lot of fun and added great energy to the place! Joni clearly loves what he does, and it shows in the passion, creativity, and thoughtful touches throughout the property. Amazing interior, great vibe—highly recommend!

It was beautiful, clean and cozy. The price is incredibly reasonable. The hosts are very welcoming and genuine. Out of all the places I stayed in Bali, this was my favorite. For me, it was better than staying in a private hotel room that was 5 times the price.

Το Kuna Bali διαθέτει εξωτερική πισίνα, κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και μπαρ, στον προορισμό Ουμπούντ. Kuna is one of the best hostels we have been to. Other than the aesthetic aspect of the place, we had queen size beds in ultra spacious rooms. The shared bathroom is big enough for the whole hostel and above all VERY clean. We always see the staff there cleaning. They pass literally every hour of the day. The exterior is cozy and very pleasant, we loved the swimming pool and the bar (with a large choice of meals & beverages at more than reasonable prices for the quality of the food served). Kuna also offers many great services like free massages and morning yoga classes, as well as movie nights by the pool (and many others). The atmosphere is great and the staff are attentive (really nice, helpful).

The hostel is new, clean, and cozy. There are 6 beds in the room — one female dorm and one mixed. Everything feels very fresh and well maintained. 😊 The staff are simply amazing — always smiling, kind, and helpful. Gede, who speaks English very well, was always around both in the morning and evening and helped with everything I needed. The rest of the team was also very friendly and created a warm atmosphere. 🧹 Cleanliness is 10/10! They clean every day and even make the beds. The mattresses are soft and comfortable, each bed has its own light and small shelf. With a 50,000 IDR deposit, you get a personal locker box in the room — very safe and convenient. The air conditioner works perfectly. 🚿 The shower was one of the best I had in Bali! There’s strong water pressure and real hot water — not just warm, but properly hot if you want. You can easily adjust the temperature, and it feels amazing after a long day exploring. 🍳 Breakfast is included, and you can choose from several options. My favorite was the sunny side eggs, but the banana pancakes were also super delicious! They usually serve some fruits and mint on the side, and during breakfast they ask if you’d like tea or coffee — a nice touch. There’s also a small station where you can refill your water bottle anytime and have tea or coffee throughout the day. 🐕 When I first arrived, there were several dogs near the entrance. Luckily, they were busy eating, but sometimes they bark at new guests. If you’re afraid of dogs, it’s good to know in advance. 🎒 If you arrive before check-in, you can safely leave your luggage — there’s a space for that. The hostel also offers tours. I joined the Mount Batur Sunrise Tour for 350,000 IDR, and it was a 10/10 experience for the price. Everything was well organized, even though we didn’t reach the lvery top.
