This has been by far the most comfortable, clean and good value for money hostels we have stayed at throughout our month long trip in India. We stayed in a private room for about 2 weeks while doing a paragliding course. It’s also very social and the volunteers, Rishi and Mai, are the a lot of fun and always down for a bonfire, card games or a chat. I can definitely recommend dormigo to anyone lucky enough to find themselves in Bir. It’s also right next to the deer institute for anyone interested in enrolling in a course there.

A quaint and relaxing getaway, just a trek away from both Dharamkot and Mcleodganj. The rooms were clean, the food was hearty and the staff were incredibly polite and helpful. A perfect spot to crash if you need some time off for yourself or if you want to meet new people, as well. An excellent stay all around. :)

Beds and bathrooms were clean and I really appreciated having curtains on the bottom bunks. There is common space to hang out both inside and outside, with beautiful and peaceful views around. ~3 min walk to the nearest cafes and restaurants.
