Located a 5-minute stroll from Shimoyoshida Station, Hostel & Salon Saruya offers a renovated 80-year old Japanese-style accommodation with free WiFi. The place was super cozy and looked a little bit traditional. The woman at reception was super warm and helpful. She gave me tips to get a nice dinner and I bought a breakfast with them (Highly recommended!).

The restrooms and shower facilities were clean and well-maintained, and to top it off, there was even an open-air bath. It was the perfect way to unwind and soothe my travel fatigue. This is a place I would love to return to as a base for exploring Asuke.
