We stayed here and took a day trip to kinosaki onsen, facilities were open late even after we got back and it was warm, quiet and cozy. Beds were so comfortable and they had all the amenities you might need while traveling even for a hostel. Would be more than happy to stay here again!

Kinosaki Knot was a clean, organized, and well-kept hostel - I visited during mid-December and had only one bunkmate in the shared women's dorm. She was great - we hit it off and grabbed dinner and wandered around town together. The beds were really comfortable and clean, the common space had hot water, tea, and coffee, and the bathrooms were also clean and had small amenities. My host was great - very welcoming, and quick to respond in case I needed anything. This hostel is also very close to the train station (not that Kinosaki is large - you can walk anywhere you need to go) and I found it handy since I had to catch a 7:00 train the next morning.

Since I am studying Japanese, the staff were also very friendly giving me instructions in Japanese of how to use things as well as giving me ideas for buying miyages or even places to eat. I also had great opportunity to talk with other japanese guests.

The cottage was beautifully made and smelt of cedar wood. The living room was so relaxing and we greatly enjoyed our stay. Homemade breakfast was so special! The host was very welcoming.

Takashi-san was very nice and approachable! The bunk beds compared to other hostels that I've stayed are much bigger and also the room only has two bunk beds and is spacious, which helps if you need to fix your luggage! :D The rooms are on the second floor which has one toilet for sharing. The second floor also has a public space. Two Shower rooms are downstairs along with another toilet that has a bidet. The location is also a 5mins walk from the nearest subway station! There's a 7/11 and Family Mart Konbini near the place! I also tried ordering a meal in the cafe - the hamburger set meal was Oishi! It was very filling also since it includes a rice and hamburger + sunny side egg on top of it while glazed with a special sauce. It also includes onion rings and fries! Overall, the place is very good and affordable, would recommend and go back again here :D

TONARINO Hostel for Backpackers si trova in una posizione privilegiata nel centro di Kobe, e prevede una sala comune, il WiFi gratuito e una terrazza. Il posto in sé è carino, ma con un sacco di ma... La ragazza della reception col sorriso è stata l'unica cosa accogliente. E spero non sia la proprietaria.. Io sono pro regole, per stare bene in ostello serve il rispetto nei confronti degli altri....ma... Metto 6 solo perché è decente come pulizia e interni..
