Fantastic location, I cannot stress enough how wonderful it was to have it so close to Kanazawa Station. The rooms were very clean, and the showers provided had baskets to bring clothes with you in. Towels are changed daily which is greatly appreciated. The common area is what one has to pass through to get to the rooms which I prefer as you can soeak to a lot of people that way. Also the lady at reception desk is extremely cute with the alt style. Staff are very helpful to the fact that they know there is no elevator and are willing to assist in bringing the luggage up for you (please ask nicely as luggage can be heavy to bring up three flights of stairs). To add onto that, I had lost my wallet and between the police and the staff of the hostel, they were able to deliver it to the hostel and provide a date and time for me to collect it, and were able to provide feedback where there was a delay in delivery, which was extremely appreciated.There is a map of the immediate area that shows the best restaurants, cheap laundry, places to drink etc which is extremely helpful (especially if you want to try something new or rather eat cheap you can see options).

The staff is jovial, communicative and easy going. Sometimes the employees will even take guests out to explore the area taking part in activities such as, but not limited to karaoke. I’ll remember this place forever and the times I spent here were some of my best memories from Kanazawa. I hope to return!
