The host was amazing, he helped me with my luggage and was incredibly attentive to my comfort. As a solo female traveler, I felt extremely safe throughout my stay. The location was perfect, just a short walk from Nara Park and other attractions. I highly recommend this hostel for anyone visiting Nara!

Bedroom and kitchen are very clean. Kitchen are very well equipped. 2 ovens, a lot of pots and plates. 6 people can eat together at kitchen table. Staff is very friendly and speaks good English.

Piece Hostel Sanjo offers private and dormitory rooms in the heart of Kyoto. Excellent location, located near a subway station. The staff members could easily speak english and were exceptionally helpful. Rooms were really clean and bathrooms too. Some days it has live music which the band is AMAZING!!

Deschis în aprilie 2013 şi beneficiind de facilități noi, Piece Hostel Kyoto este situat convenabil, la doar 5 minute de mers pe jos de gara JR Kyoto. It’s locate near the JR Kyoto station. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The room is small but big enough for me to unpack my 2 luggages at the same time (1 big 1 carry-on). The number of shared shower room are reasonable. (some place has just 3 rooms!) I have a good time stay at Piece Hostel Kyoto.

城崎温泉 HOSTEL Waraku se află în localitatea Kinosaki din regiunea Hyogo, la 2,4 km de Kinumaki Shrine și la 3,9 km de Seto Shrine, și include o terasă. Great location (right in the center of town), nice room, very clean, comfortable and the owners are very accommodating.

Charlie's Bed se găsește în Wakayama și are un lounge comun, o terasă, un bar, și WiFi gratuit în întreaga proprietate. Clean, modern and every item in the room was well thought out. Most importantly the human touch the hosts displayed. Makes you feel at home. Very helpful people.

Hostel Caranashi se bucură de o locație excelentă în cartierul Uehommachi, Tennoji, Southern Osaka din Osaka, la 6 minute de mers pe jos de Nakagawa Park, la 700 m de The Osaka Korean Church in Japan... Everything! The room is spacious, to my surprise and they also have a full-length mirror. Lounge is very cozy and stuffed with good selection of tea and snacks. Ken is very friendly!

Toyooka guesthouse Hostel Act se află în Toyooka, la aproximativ 11 km de Soun-ji Temple și la 11 km de Inaba Honke Institution. After staying in both chain and independent hostels in Japan, and elsewhere in the world, I have to say this was my favourite hostel experience. It truly felt like my friend and I had just been invited to a family member's home to stay for the night. It was such a lovely and cozy experience! The decor is whimsical, the kitchen is well-stocked, the showers and facilities are fantastic, and the room we stayed in was tatami and lovely. Whenever I am in the Toyooka area again, I will be returning to stay at Hostel Act :)

The location was perfect for us as we visited the Shaun the Sheep farm before check-in—it made the journey super convenient. The guesthouse itself was a beautiful blend of traditional Japanese charm and modern touches. We especially loved the dinner—it honestly felt like an omakase experience! Every single dish was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. The peaceful riverside setting and cozy interior made it feel like a hidden gem.
