The staff are very friendly, they helped providing me with alternative methods to reach the property as the direct buses stop after 7pm or so. It’s very clean and the restaurant felt very private and delicious. You can grind coffee beans in your room and read books and magazines it was a beautiful experience and design.

Terletak di Tamano, Machicado mempunyai taman, ruang tamu berkongsi, bar, dan WiFi percuma di seluruh tempat penginapan. Cozy place in a good location near the port. We stayed as a base to see Naoshima and Teshima. Staff was helpful and everything was clean and comfortable.

Hibari House Guest house is located a 10-minute drive from Okayama Station, from where guests can reach Hiroshima Station in 40 minutes by train and Shin-Osaka Station in 50 minutes. Great clean and friendly hostel above a bar in the main strip area. Good access to everything. Dryers and shower were super nice.

Only 500 metres from JR Okayama Station’s west exit, Kamp Houkan-cho Backpacker's Inn & Lounge’s features a café with a live stage for DJs and other artists. Cooking tools and kitchen availavle. Reasonable and comfortable bed/room.

Mr Sakamoto was a wonderful host! He does his job well as local town tourist information manager. He welcomed us, gave us some maps and answered our questions. It’s a converted Japanese house, not a hotel. We stayed in the cheaper dormitory part of the property. It was adequate. In the dormitory side the two rooms are upstairs and the toilet and small shower are downstairs. The toilets were clean and the kitchenette area under the stairs was adequate for simple dinner and breakfast we had. The local supermarket is a short distance away by car and open 9a-9p. Plenty of selection available. We enjoyed a morning walk along the lovely little river and through the town and countryside. The firefly park and pavilion were a short drive away but they were interesting to see. We’d love to go back in the spring during cherry blossom season and in early June for the firefly season. The stars were beautiful since there’s little light pollution!
