The owner’s warm and welcoming personality adds to the charm of this stay. They shared many insights about the history and highlights of Asuke, making me feel as though I had become a part of this beautiful town. I stayed in a single room, which was spacious and comfortable, offering a relaxing experience. The restrooms and shower facilities were clean and well-maintained, and to top it off, there was even an open-air bath. It was the perfect way to unwind and soothe my travel fatigue. This is a place I would love to return to as a base for exploring Asuke.

The host was so helpful and attentive. I really enjoyed our conversations, full of life and funny. The room is very clean, tatami floor and futon. The bathroom may need a bit of renovating but it didn't bother me. Location was great, 5 min to the beach, 12-15 min to the port and about 18 min to the station, but there is a bus stop near by that goes to the station. You can see mt. Fuji on a clear day on the street where the guesthouse is. Very special place, I would like to stay again.

Terletak di Shizuoka, 48km dari Kuil Shuzen-ji, Backpackers Hostel TSUBAMENOYADO mempunyai penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma, lounge berkongsi dan teres. The owner is very kind. You can tell he likes to meet new people and to help them discovering the town. The place is small and confortable. I slept well. And the town has so many things to see and visit. I would definitely like to go back to this hostel!

What the town lacks in attractions, the hostel itself compensated in facilities (1 person onsen, communal area with a relaxing vibe and the option to buy drinks, clean sleeping area etc) & great services. Also it's really close from Shin-Fuji station, as well as a few shops and places to eat. The owner/person working at reception is a really cool guy who knows English that recommended some great places to take photos of Mount Fuji (ありがとうございます). Overall great price-value accommodation.

My favorite hostel of all time. The bed area is so spacious, I’ve never had such a large bed in a hostel. The duvet and bedsheets are so nice that I just want to sleep in longer ~ It’s obvious that the owner has given careful thoughts on how to make the guests’ stay more comfortable- the powder room has large mirror, chairs and one lamp per seat to assist your makeup :) Location is great too - just a few minutes from the train station (north exit!) and the bus station to anywhere you need to go.

Terletak di Shimoda, 1-minit berjalan kaki dari Pantai Shirahama Ohama, Yado KONAMI menawarkan penginapan tepi pantai dan pelbagai kemudahan, seperti taman. The facility is little old, but very clean and the staff is very attentive and considerate.. we will definitely go back.. its like youre staying at the house of a japanese family back then. The toilet is old style but no problem at all.. the water is clean the bed sheets and bath is clean the kitchen stuffs also..

The house was so so well decorated and traditional. We loved every piece of it!! The couple running jt is so inspiring. They offer activities to complement the stay and such a good recommendations in the area. Would repeat without hesitating. Better if you have a car to move around.

Shiro and Claire are super friendly and made us feel at home. It was a privilege to stay at their 1910 built Japanese traditional farmer’s house that gave us a great experience of Japanese country living.
