Is perfect if you're looking to stay in a chilled out hostel where everyone is mindful of each other, quiet and considerate. Sam, the owner, is such an awesome guy and will help you out with anything you need. This would be one of the only hostels really giving back to the community around it, and trying to do things here in Sri Lanka the 'right' way. Hope to be back here in the future!

Lovely hostel out in nature! The family is very nice and makes you feel so welcome. Activities and good food! Hardly recommend :)

I stayed there for 2 nights in April 2025 and had a lovely time there. The beds are comfortable in a big dorm with individual ventilators, mosquito nets, and cupboards. In addition, there are many common facilities including a very big and fully equipped kitchen. At walking distance, there are restaurants, a beach, and a supermarket to get some groceries. Galle's station is 10 minutes away with PickMe/Uber. Highly recommend it.

An amazing spot on the lake, very peaceful and beautiful. Very warm welcome by Robert, use of canoes a big plus, great to have the cat's around, altogether a perfect place to spend a few days. We didn't have time but will be back for sure . Loved our upstairs double room..

Menawarkan taman, ruang tamu berkongsi dan pemandangan taman, Hanuman Heights terletak di Unawatuna, kurang dari 1 km dari Pantai Unawatuna. A very welcoming and completely renovated property surrounded by greenery, very close to "Jungle Beach," a unique experience that immerses you in the true culture of Sri Lanka. Although the hostel is not currently on Google Maps, and therefore difficult to find, there is a Tuc Tuc service offered by the host who will take you from the first hostel, "Oops," to "Hanuman Heights"! Very nice! Definitely an experience to try at least once in your life.
