The owner woke up to check me in at 3.30 am. He was such sweet soul, very nice and friendly and helpful and doing his best to meet his clients half way. Also enjoyed talking to him, the property is beautifully maintained, they have a rooftop where I could do my yoga practice, it is a true haven indeed.

I was in Colombo before and went to Negombo because its a nice place very near the airport. There were certain options to go to, curlys hostel was one of the cheapest in my case. I booked for 3 days and stayed at least 11 days because the room was perfect with a very comfortable bed (I was the only visitor for 8 days) and AC in a cozy house with everything I needed. Curly is a superb host, also the employeed house maker called aunty, the hostel got cleaned every day and the food was delicious. Drank also 'Old Arrack' from Rockland with ice there, can very recommend that spirit

Uno dei migliori hostel dove ho soggiornato, Estremamente pulito e comodo. Nonostante non ci siano finestre nella stanza , l'ho trovata molto arieggiata e pulita, e per una notte è andata più che bene. Letti comodissimi, è stato perfetto per riposare il giorno prima di prendere un volo. Inoltre è in una zona molto comoda , se si ha poco tempo e si vuole fare un giro, si trova tutto ció di cui si ha bisogno a pochi passi. Direi che non è particolarmente social come posto , è più per rilassarsi, però immagino che se si vuole socializzare è possibile dato che è presente un ristorante con live music e lo staff e molto socievole.

Super cozy hostel on a quiet street right off the main road, 2 minute walk to the beach and next to all the restaurants! The owner / managers were super friendly and extremely helpful I was able to hangout in the common area with beanbags with a cute pup until my 23:00 flight departure. Refillable drinking water, great AC, comfortable beds and kitchen to use if needed. Great spot before heading to the airport (tuktuk is only 800 and 30min drive)

I stayed at Sea Sand Beach Hostel twice, each time for three nights — once when I arrived in Sri Lanka and again before leaving. It’s very clean and feels just like home. The location is perfect, with a sea view and lots of restaurants around. The manager is super friendly and helpful. I’d definitely come back!
