The hosts are incredible, they meet you with a welcome drink, provide home cooked meals for breakfast lunch and dinner with produce from their garden, currency exchange, laundry, tips and advice, answer any questions and can provide lifts into town. Nothing is too much trouble and they want you to have the best stay. The property is beautiful with amazing views of the hills and the facilities are very clean and private. While you eat in their home with them, the dorm and bathroom is in a separate building that also has privacy. The room has lockers and mosquito nets for each bunk and there is fast WiFi. There is also a fan in the room and drinking water available free of charge.

Compared to other properties in Kandy/Peradeniya this place is actually accurate. My rule of thumb when booking trough booking.com is to book accomodation with at least 8.0+ rating. Most places could have an 8+ rating, but when looking at the google reviews those places are filled with mold or have less than favourable reviews. This place is all positive. The staff will make you feel at home and they will do everything in their power to get you on the train to Ella!

One of my favorite stays at a hostel. I loved the hospitality. Banda, the staff, has one of the best hospitality I've experienced. They are very accommodating, friendly, and puts a lot of heart into making our stay an enjoyable one. Loved there's breakfast and dinner and it's easy to meet other travelers. Space is really clean and comfortable too. Was able to arrange for Sigiriya and Knuckles Mountain tour here.

They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner (not included on the booking. It's a beautiful place if you want to spend a chill time. Consider you should take a 30 min Bus till you reach Kandy downtown.

Kurumbunkz está en Kandy, a 10 min a pie de Museo Kandy, y dispone de alojamiento con terraza, parking privado gratis, restaurante y bar. Their rooftop restaurant was awesome! Had their breakfast burrito twice and think it was one of the tastier things I had in Kandy. They're more of an upscale hostel, so the rooms are clean and well-designed. A little pricier, but certainly worth it if you're wanting a slightly more comfortable dorm experience! Location is good, about a 15 minute walk into the town alongside the lake and about 5 minutes from one of the performance centers for the Kandy traditional fire-dance experiences.
