That was a fantastic stay in Barefoot Inn. We had everything we needed, comfortable beds, clean bathroom and a very tasty Sri Lankan breakfast served by Jeewani, the owner, who is a very friendly, attentive and a supportive host.

After being at this place for 1 night , I just feel oh god can I stay here for a few more days . This place has a vibe . I wish if I could give a 10 star rating for the host too . Been on a backpacking trip in Srilanka for a week till now . As far as I have seen this is the best value for money dorm I have been in . Hopefully I'll come back here soon

Our stay at Ku’Vana Hostel Kandy was truly enjoyable. The room is simple and very comfortable, with clean and cozy beds that made for a good night’s sleep. Bathrooms are well maintained and tended to daily, which we really appreciated. The facilities are straightforward, but everything worked smoothly, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The location is excellent just a short distance from the city centre, making it easy to explore Kandy, yet still quiet enough to enjoy some peace. What really stood out was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast each morning was a highlight delicious, generous, and a great start to the day. For the price this hostel offers exceptional value. Clean, convenient, and filled with genuine hospitality it felt more like staying with friends than in a hostel. We would definitely choose to stay here again when we return to Kandy.

Had a wonderful experience at Bunty’s! The free pickup from Kandy was super convenient, and Bunty himself was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location was peaceful yet close enough to the main attractions. Great value for money — highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kandy!

Menawarkan taman dan WiFi percuma, Catch The Ella Train Hostel terletak di Kandy, 1.8km dari Taman Botani Kandy Royal dan 6.7km dari Stesen Kereta Api Kandy. Asanka was extremely helpful! He taught us lots about Sri Lanka. He went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after. He helped us get tickets on the Ella train. The breakfast was DELICIOUS!

I don’t think you’ll find somewhere nicer than this for the price! A beautiful, peaceful stay outside the busy hustle of Kandy city. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the whole house is truly beautiful - from an indoor garden to a fish pond. The true highlight is the wonderful host, Jude and his incredible cooking. He really spoilt us with the best curry we’ve had and then a tasty dessert. We also really enjoyed our evenings chatting over a beer outside, surrounded by fireflies, frogs and other wildlife. He offered us lots of advice about travelling Sri Lanka and taught us a lot about this beautiful country. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!
