The place was also really clean and nice and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The place is spotless, and the breakfast provided is delicious.I felt very safe during my stay. I can't wait to return on my next visit to Kandy! Highly recommended!

Shalu gave a good rate for the drop hire to Dabulla and he has a very good knowledge about the country so good English, very helpful. Thank you so much.

The owner is such an easy guy to get along with. He has a great sense of humor. Breakfast everyday was different and so delicious! He took me on a tour to the tea factory, an artist studio, a village, and an Ayuverdic spa. He ended our tour with a treat (baked goods and homemade biryani) when I finished my massage. He also offered to give a tour of the Buddhist temples. This hostel is extremely close to the train station and easy to access Royal Botanical Garden by bus. Even the complimentary soap here smells amazing. I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel and I've made a wonderful lifelong friend. I would recommend for solo travellers especially because of the delicious free breakfast and the activities that the host has planned.

The location and the vibe of the place was just great! The caretaker Jude was also a very helpful host. He texted the location beforehand and helped me get a Tuk at a slightly cheaper price than Pick me or Uber. I felt very safe and comfortable there. Initially I was planning to stay just a night, but I booked another night as my plans changed. The common space is also very homely. I also got to meet the owners and they were also sweet people. They also have a wonderful Green-house and a well maintained lawn and gardens. If you're into English breakfasts they also have that there in the property. Overall my stay was fantastic and I would definitely want to return there. Great option for travelers who want to disconnect and rest

Had their breakfast burrito twice and think it was one of the tastier things I had in Kandy. They're more of an upscale hostel, so the rooms are clean and well-designed. A little pricier, but certainly worth it if you're wanting a slightly more comfortable dorm experience! Location is good, about a 15 minute walk into the town alongside the lake and about 5 minutes from one of the performance centers for the Kandy traditional fire-dance experiences.
