They were the sweetest couple, who were always around to help you, give tips and also make you delicious food. I did a cooking class with them for 3000, which was incredible and so much cheaper than any other places and gave you a more authentic experience. I 100% recommend doing this is you are staying. They have a small restaurant where you can chill at and also a hammock. There was only one room, a four female dorm. It did get a little hot at times as there was only one fan for the room to share. It was clean and had a large bathroom. The location is perfect, just off the main street with some restaurants and mini stores around, but also a short walk to even more restaurants and it is fine walking to lion rock and pidurangala rock. If I came back I would definitely come back to stay and will recommend to all my friends that I know will be coming this way. Thank you for 💚

Very clean, and above all, the people are amazing. Kani is extremely friendly and kind. He did so many things for me!! I also admire his way of thinking—he truly values encounters and connections with people. You can see it not only in his words, but also in his actions. Thank you for the precious experience in Sigiriya!! Highly recommended!!! Some people may think it’s a bit far from Sigiriya Rock, but actually the entrance is on the west side, and I believe this is one of the few places within walking distance around there.

The room is great, the bed was very comfortable, the place is quiet. The breakfast was generous and delicious. I would also recommend to try the rice and curry for dinner that also was delicious!

This is a newly opened hostel perfect for seeing Sigiriya! It’s only about a 10 minute tuk tuk ride to the rock and about 10-15 minutes walking to some restaurants and shops. This is the cleanest hostel I stayed at in Sri Lanka. You can smell the freshness in the bathrooms and the towels smell so clean. The rooms also have air conditioning. Above all, the family is so personable and kind. The breakfast is also affordable and was so tasty - the best breakfast I had in my one month visit in Sri Lanka. 100% recommend :)

Hakuna Matata Hostel se găsește în Sigiriya, la aproximativ 3,3 km de Sigiriya Rock și la 6,5 km de Stânca Pidurangala. This place was just awesome! Clean bedroom and bathroom, peaceful and quiet surrounded by nature, cute dogs who are well-treated, yummy breakfast. Hammock was a big win. As a solo female traveller, Diwa made me feel safe and welcome, and helped me to plan my itinerary. He also took me on a tour which was very informative. Highly recommend.

Just about the closest you can stay to the Sigiriya lion rock (you should get there at 5am to beat the crowds and an amazing sunrise). The owner gave me awesome personalized recommendations. Lined up a safari where I saw maybe 30 wild elephants. So many babies. Looks newly remodeled and very clean. Perfectly clean sheets and towels. Attention to detail. Large nice bathroom. Good local in house breakfast. Very relaxed town, close to easily walkable restaurants. I suggest the train here from Colombo 4$ second class. A perfect stay thanks to the super knowledgeable local host. Thank you

Sevonrich Luxury Hostel - Dambulla oferă cazare în Dambulla, la aproximativ 3,7 km de Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Tombs și la 4 km de Popham's Arboretum. Very friendly hosts, good food, including breakfast which was cheap. The location is great if you wanna stay in a more quiet place, a bit away from the town but close to the impressive temple! I had a really good stay.
