Abderrahim und Achmet sind unglaubliche Gastgeber. Die zwei könnten locker in einem 5 Sterne Hotel arbeiten. Wenn sidi kaouki, dann im Dar Iziki!!! Abderrahim ist ein sehr guter Koch. Definitiv das beste Essen in Sidi Kaouki!

Das Abendessen war ausgezeichnet! Lage perfekt, wunderschöner Blick auf die Stadt und das Meer.

Die Unterkunft Hostel La Smala hat eine Gemeinschaftslounge, eine Terrasse, ein Restaurant und eine Bar in Essaouira. I have stayed ocean view room with private bathroom, I wish I had extra couple of days and enjoyed from my room more. I would like to also thank the hostel staff at the reception on my check out day. Unfortunately, I broke a glass and spilled my drink, although I tried to clean it, but couldn't manage it properly. When I informed her about the issue, she was very kind to handle it. If you will go Essouira, and have a chance to stay that ocean view room, make sure to book min 2 nights :)

And this hostel is a part of that. Firstly- very central location, when I mean central it means you're in the heart of Essaouira. The staff communicates perfectly, the conditions to stay in this hostel was almost ideal! Already missing Essaouira! Merci 🌼

It’s a rather small hostel, but very social with real chilled family vibes. The hostel manager Souf is the heart of the place - he’s really chilled and makes sure that everybody has a good time. We often cooked some really authentic traditional Moroccan food together with him, with ingredients fresh from the local markets. There is an awesome rooftop to just chill and relax, it’s secured from the wind. You can go surfing and do many other exciting activities in the area, Souf will organize and tell you all you need to know! Will return there for sure when I’m in the area again!! :)
