Situated in Antigua Guatemala and with Santa Catalina Arch reachable within 400 metres, Ojala offers a tour desk, rooms, a bar, free WiFi throughout the property and two gardens. Super nice hostel. Great location. Even it is right in the center very quiet at night. Like the capsule system in the dorms. Super friendly and helpful stuff. Laundry service worked very well (price per pound). Breakfast was always super good / delicious.

I was supposed to stay for a couple of days and ended up staying for a couple of weeks. From the beginning Geovanny, Elvira and Oscar gave me a warm and welcoming feeling. They clean the bath- and washrooms on a daily basis, and while they are at it they also make your bed. There is a beautiful, big kitchen, provided with all necessary utensils (even a blender!), some herbs, coffee and tea. One of my favourite things during my stay was cooking with a bunch of other people from the hostel, like a little family. There are activities like movie night, making tacos and eating marshmallows at the fire. It is also the perfect locations for digital nomads like myself. The vibe is chill and WiFi works perfectly. You can even take you computer up to the terrace and enjoy the view of the city. I found it really hard San Cristobál because the location has so much to offer, but especially because La Abuelita felt a little bit like coming home!

Great facilities, breakfast just splendid, I was so happy to be in this hostel, with flowers, clean bathrooms, not cheap shampoos, lotions, with a really big and well equiped kitchen. Who owns this place should be somebody very professional, sensitive, who just knows how to make things in a great, welcoming way

Yellowhouse is a great hostel for anyone wishing to visit Antigua! The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. In fact, the entire hostel is extremely cute and gets cleaned multiple times daily. The breakfast is delicious, just like in a restaurant, and it serves multiple options. The staff is also very friendly and willing to help with anything. I will certainly return to Yellowhouse when I visit again and I definitely recommend it!

You come inside and smell the Jasmin flowers. We arrived at 5 in the morning from the night bus and one of the ladies working there welcomed us very friendly. The several courtyards are wonderfully decorated and there are several places to sit - in the shade but also on terraces. The women in the kitchen are just amazingly warm people, greeting you with a smile and even preparing breakfast for you at 4 in the morning. The staff is incredibly helpful and tries to find a solution for everything - one of them walked with us around in the neighborhood to find an open lavanderia on a Sunday. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would recommend is to bring a hot water bottle as it can get cold at night - but this is just because I am a person that gets cold easily.

We had a really nice stay at Mazaryk. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable for a great price. It’s quiet and out of town but not too far walking distance. The kitchen was great to cook your own meals in and there’s a nice terrace to chill and watch the sunset on. Really friendly staff who went above and beyond. The very welcoming atmosphere of this beautiful and very comfortable hostel is just amazing! Everything is so well taken care of and the staff Jose Luis and his son are so friendly and really caring for your well being. The cleanliness of the bathroom, the free use of the washing machine, the nice view on the roof overlooking the mountain area of San Cris. The kitchen is so well equiped and inviting to do your cooking, there is coffee and cookies and tea always available and a big fridge to store your stuff and spices you can use while preparing some food and the kitchen is super spacious and always clean! The hostal is a quiet heaven in a lovely side street of the more busy walking area. Staying in this hostel made my time in San Cristobal de las Casas a very memorable one. It was like being part of the family not a guest in a hostal. Thanks so much. Hope to visit again one day.

Enjoyed my 1+ month stay in tent. Fresh and natural feeling. Quiet at night but easily walkable to town and other locations. Bed could be more comfortable and spaces are tight but good value for holbox. Friendly people, nice vibes
