I stayed in a bunch of hotels and airbnb in Nepal before (mostly Kathmandu) and Napalaya beats all of them head down. The room was squeaky clean and fresh, furniture looked new, functional set up, bathroom absolutely lovely( trust me on that on the strength of my Nepalese experience). Staff friendly, and professional. Had my own balcony on to of that! View wasn’t exactly Pokhara lake but it was quiet as not facing the street— massive bonus!

The double private room was very spacious and the staff were very welcoming. We weren't able to pay by credit card on their system but they sent the link and that worked well. Would recommend. Note that the hotel asked for a review but I would have given them this rating anyway

Our room had a private washroom inside the room! The location is great because it is calm and not so crowded. You can go to the center by Taxi (10 min) and by foot (30 min).

Bishwo, the owner is very helpful and knows a lot about the area. He helped me with my indian visa and recommended the best local restaurants and places to go in Bhaktapur as well as outside the city. The hot showers work very well and the beds are comfortable. Furthermore you can use the rooftop terrace of the guesthouse just across the streets for some amazing sunset.
