The living room is cozy and warm, you can use any table you want inside or outside and the owner / manager was super friendly and even gave us some advice as to what spots near Milford Sound we could visit that pretty much only locals know about ! He's a great guy and you can tell he loves what he does !

If you’re heading to Milford Sound and need a place to stay for two nights, this is perfect. It’s like camping in style — warm, cosy, and surrounded by nature. The peace is amazing, and waking up to that lake view in the morning… wow, pure magic. My tip: stop by a supermarket beforehand and bring something to cook here. You won’t want to leave what I call a truly magical place (for those who value nature and experience over five-star luxury). I can only say thank you for everything.

Tuatara Lodge terletak di daerah Invercargill City Centre bagi Invercargill, dan adalah kurang dari 1 km dari Southern Institute of Technology. I liked the simplicity of the hostel, the facilities, and the cleanliness. The staff was very welcoming, and everything went smoothly. I even washed my laundry. The common spaces, including the kitchen, are big and very clean! I would love to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay here, and Nathan was extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this place.
