A really great place to stay if you are in the area. You are only a short drive away to explore Abel Tasman but the Lodge seems far away from the crowds. Set in quiet and beautiful surroundings, with a wonderful host, a comfy room (size matching the description on the website), very clean and spacious facilities and on top a perfect spot for star gazing.

I loved the cleanliness of the place, the layout, the spacious kitchens (there were 2) and the hostel was relatively unoccupied when I stayed so there was plenty of room to spread out. Quiet, peaceful, and fun!
