Set in Boca del Drago, this beachfort property offers accommodation in Bocas Town. The property is a 20 minutes walk from Playa Estrella. Amazing beach and super relaxed feeling! The hosts were amazing, very friendly and nice! Thank you guys for a great short vacation! We wish would've stayed longer! Two nights were definitely not enough!

A summary of all the good things: 1. The deck. One day I literally spent the entire day at the deck, either reading a book in one of the beds, taking a swim, seeing sea-animals passing by, etc… 2. Breakfast is good and generous. I had the Caribbean breakfast every day. 3. Location is perfect. Just a few blocks far from “the noise”, yet close to several restaurants, grocery stores and to Bocas downtown. It’s walkable from/to the Almirante boats docks. 4. Staff was nice. 5. The room was perfect. 6. We took the advertised tour to Isla Zapatilla for $37, which I recommend. 7. Wifi was decent. Had a little glitch sometimes from the room, but acceptable. 8. We had a welcome drink/activity at night and used the paddle board for free on Thursday at 10am.

Bambuda Lodge is located in the tropical rain forest in Bocas del Toro. The property features a coral reef off its dock and a swimming pool with an on-site bar and a fun and social atmosphere. Bambuda Lodge is a fantastic place to stay. A special shoutout to Sheri for making the meanest and most delicious cocktails, she is a gem. The staff not only organizes tours but also makes it very easy for solo travelers to connect by hosting social events. When I visited, it was more on the younger and social side compared to some other Bambuda locations. The views are stunning, but what really struck me was the beauty of the jungle huts, which give a high-quality hotel feel right in the middle of nature. Volunteers make sure you are entertained and always have activities to join. Highly recommend and a million thanks to the Bambuda Lodge teams for making this a beautiful stay!

I found this place last minute and really appreciated that it was pet-friendly and had self check-in, which made everything super easy. The hosts were easy to contact via WhatsApp and responded quickly. There’s no AC, but the bedroom has a large, powerful fan, and there’s another in the shared living room area, so it stayed comfortable. I also appreciated the comfy seating at the dining table. The kitchen area was clean and well equipped.

Reliably hot showers, roof top seating, and complimentary coffee will always win me over. Private room even had a mini fridge and aircon which is quite luxurious by hostel standards.

Surfari Bocas offers pet-friendly accommodation in Bocas Town. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, private bathroom fitted with a hot water shower. Room was comfortable, kitchen was really handy for keeping food costs down. The owner Thomas and his wife were great hosts.
