Situated right above Bad Gastein's famous waterfall, only 200 metres from the centre, the 4-star Appartementhotel Sonnenwende by AlpenTravel offers panoramic mountain and village views, free WiFi, and free garage parking. From May to October, guests will be offered a discount at the Felsentherme. All of the stylish apartments have a flat-screen satellite TV, a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, and an elegant bathroom. Some apartments have 2 or 3 bathrooms, or feature a balcony. Guests find an on-site restaurant that serves Austrian dishes with seasonal and regional products. The Stubnerkogellift, the main ski lift of the Gastein Valley is 500 metres away from the Sonnenwende apartments . Tennis courts, an ice rink and spa facilities can be reached within a 5-minute walk. A heated depot for ski equipment is available on site.
