Ideally located in the scenic and quieter area of the Esplanade- away from the noise of the clubs, bars and traffic- but only an easy 10 minute walk to the main attractions, the Pier and Cairns City center. An evening meal deal at a nearby licensed venue each night. Guests enjoy free WiFi in public areas until 22:30, a large swimming pool, BBQ facilities, a self-service laundry and 2 fully equipped shared kitchens. Caravella Hostel offers a choice of private and dormitory rooms, each offering free air conditioning, a fan and a refrigerator. Rooms with private bathroom facilities are available. Free luggage storage and a free safety deposit box are provided at reception. The property offers tour discounts for all tours booked through the hostel. Guests can relax in the shared TV lounge room and a communal area with free WiFi throughout the day. The staff can assist with information on local tours and activities. Our onsite Bagus Cafe can cater for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cairns Airport is a 12-minute drive from Caravella Backpackers Cairns.
