Our Facilities Modern 3 Bedroom and 2 Bathroom Underground Home inclusive continental breakfast All of our rooms are underground and have natural daylight and ventilation for a comfortable stay. An air shaft system provides fresh air to keep the temperature nice and cool in summer and warm in winter. Kitchen and Living Room Undercover Outdoor Entertainment Area with BBQ Sightseeing and Tour Information No Smoking inside No Pets We speak English, German and Swiss German History of the Dug Out B&B It started as an opal mine in 1960s. Big bulldozer cuts and later with explosives and hand mining created the first unique holes of the Dug Out B&B. Later a tunnel machine was used to give the shape of the truly, unique, spaces 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom underground home. The interior design carefully integrated to the characteristic of the old mine and the modern, classic underground living with an endless view over the desert. The Art Work displayed through out the Dug Out B&B is from local Artists
