Situated alongside Macquarie Harbour, the historic Franklin Manor was originally built in 1896. It offers a guest lounge with a fireplace, free Wi-Fi and rooms with a flat-screen TV. Surrounded by lovely native gardens, Franklin Manor Strahan is set on the fringe of the Wild Rivers National Park, just 2 minutes’ drive from Regatta Point Railway Station and 5 minutes’ drive from Strahan Golf Club. Hobart International Airport is a 5-hour drive away. All rooms are elegantly decorated and include an en suite bathroom with guest toiletries. Some rooms include a spa bath. Each suite offers a refrigerator, tea/coffee making supplies and ironing facilities. The tour desk can book river cruises, fishing trips and seaplane tours. The hotel also features a library and luggage storage facilities. Free parking is available on site (subject to availability).
