House on the Hill Bed and Breakfast Country B&B offers a beautiful,comfortable experience and stunning views of the Huon River and The Huon Valley below. You will feel like you are deep in nature, but are only a few minutes away from the main street of Huonville and only35 minutes from Hobart. The house has a private Suite 1 (Queen Bed, en-suite, private lounge and verandahs),Suite 2 (Queen Bed, en-suite, shared guest lounge room and verandahs). Suite 3 has two Bedrooms a Double and a Twin with a large shared Bathroom for use of these two rooms only. We not only offer fantastic Breakfast, we also offer Paddock to the Plate experience with great Dinners, so when you book with us we send our Menu to you to get you excited. Enjoy dinner cooked by your hosts. Great views, very comfortable and relaxing surrounds. Enjoy watching the local wildlife (Wallabies, Bandicoot's , Spotted Quoll at dusk from your verandah's. Harts Mountains, Cygnet, the Wooden Boat Building Centre, Tahune Airwalk and only fourty minutes to Bruny Island Ferry. House on the Hill B&B is perfectly located for exploring Tasmania's Southern Region. Languages spoken: English
We enjoy meeting new guests and hosting their stay as well as welcoming our return guests for another stay and looking after them while are with us at House on the Hill.
Huonville is a great service Town,with surrounding areas of Cygnet with great cafe's and restaurants Egg's and Bacon Bay and Hartz Mountains with good bush walking and winery. Woodbridge with Peepermint Bay, Franklin with the Wooden Boat Centre Geeveston and Tahune Airwalk, Bruny Island. Margate with the Margate Train, Kingston and Hobart.
