The house has recently been lovingly restored to its original glory. You’ll enjoy 12-foot ceilings, stained glass casement windows, a cozy wood fire heater, and polished timber floors throughout. Great care has been taken to preserve the original hardware and windows, allowing the home to feel just as it would have over 100 years ago. Lacey’s Creek Station is a working farm. Around the homestead, you’ll likely spot chickens and ducks foraging in the yard, the occasional cheeky goat on the loose, and—depending on the season and stock rotation—cattle grazing nearby. The house is perched on a ridgeline, where a near-constant breeze keeps temperatures noticeably cooler than in town. Every room is also fitted with a ceiling fan for added comfort.

We’re a young family running a small, hands-on farm nestled in the hills of north west brisbane. When we're not chasing after our kids or tending to the vines and cattle, we’re restoring our historic homestead and sharing its charm with guests looking for a peaceful country escape. We love welcoming people to experience the beauty, simplicity, and quiet of farm life, complete with chooks, goats, and the occasional glass of homegrown wine.
