'Serenity by the Lake’ is a very private, self-contained boathouse with an open plan layout right on the waters edge of Lake Macquarie. Perfect for a romantic weekend or just time out from everyday life. This space has been carefully designed to provide relaxed feeling throughout. It contains a queen sized bed, private bathroom, modern fully equipped kitchen and dining area, as well as BBQ facilities. The fridge has continuous filtered water and ice cubes perfect for that cool drink. Kayaks, stand up paddle boards, fishing gear and bait are all included for the duration of your stay. A laundry, including a washing machine, dryer and outdoor clothes line for your exclusive use. Relax in the large, fully fenced yard or on the magnificent privately owned jetty exclusive for our boat house guests. The spectacular water views, fishing rods, snorkel gear, kayaks are all included, so you can do as much or as little as you wish during your stay. We pride ourselves on what we have achieved and have worked hard to ensure you have a wonderful stay and provide you with lots of little touches to help you to enjoy your time with us. Full country breakfast provisions(bacon, eggs, baked beans, fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, toast and orange juice). Fresh seasonal fruit is provided for every day of your stay. A bottle of red will be waiting for you on arrival to enjoy and just relax.
Marks Point is easily accessible from Sydney, located approximately 1 hour and 10 minute drive from Hornsby. It is a short drive or bike ride from the nearest beach at Blacksmiths. It is also conveniently located half way between Swansea and Belmont, where within a 5 minute drive you will have all of the conveniences of supermarkets, shops and cafés. beaches, shopping and dining opportunities. And don’t forget about Hunter Valley, which is just an hour away.
