The Secret Figtree Cottage is an environmentally responsibly set up and maintained guest house located in Clare, less than 100m away from the Riesling Trail, and 300m to the Main st. The 1860s building invites you to enjoy a wood fire in winter, and a beautiful garden in summer. With hot outdoor shower you will lose the sense of time and find yourself indulging in the magic of the Secret Figtree.
I am a creative professional, keen gardener, purposeful parent, and a passionate learner. Most of my life is focussed on my family, the company I have started over 16 years ago, our pets, and a lucky round of golf here and there. With a strong focus on environmental responsibility and sustainable aesthetics I keep myself busy finding the ways to indulge without damaging what nurtures us.
Clare is a vibrant cosy town surrounded by natural bushland and vineyards. Short walk from the cottage you will find several fabulous cafes, restaurants, pubs, as well as shopping precinct. On the opposite side of the cottage you will find the famous Riesling trail - a former railway line that is now a walking and cycling trail spanning over 24km through multiple towns.
