Located in the elegant heart of the city, it stands only a stone’s throw from the finest museums and famous-name boutiques on Avenue de la Toison d’Or.
It is original in the way it combines a respectful yet bold renovation, where the eclecticism of the style of the rooms is based on a careful search for exceptional works, plaster staff features, objects, and furnishings, interspersed with works by artist Dimitri Parimeros.
A lift serves the various floors, while the staircase offers a view of portraits from the 19thcentury to contemporary times.
The house’s ground-floor reception rooms with their majestic 5 m ceilings give a feeling of space, airiness, and relaxation, thanks in no small part to the original monumental mirror that reflects an 18ecentury painted wooden angel suspended above a white contemporary table.
Of an evening, the Regency guest lounge with contemporary furniture is where we have the pleasure of welcoming new guests with a collation and a map of Brussels.
A number of Flemish portraits, a 15th-century town map, and a monumental contemporary light sculpture by artist Dimitri Parimeros all contribute to making this a guest-house for art lovers.
Leisure and Tourism
Brussels offers a wealth of possibilities for leisure activities, with its museums and galleries, historic buildings, and vibrant cultural life.
There are a great many art galleries, which exhibit at the major international shows.
Lovers of antiques or bric-a-brac can visit the nearby antique dealers’ district of Le Sablon and Les Marolles (10–12 minute walk) where the famous Place du Jeu de Balle second-hand market is held every weekend.
