Casa Beijaflor is our holidays house we completely renovated it 12 years ago and try to put a lit bit of everything from our lives as we are a multi-cultural family from Brasil, England and France
I'm Brazilian but I spend a lot of my time in Europe particularly in France and UK as my son is Brazilian, French and English! We have also a house in south of France, I love to be in Paraty during the winter in Europe to enjoy the tropical summer and be with my family. We love to be by the sea and drinking caipirinhas, take the boat to visit the islands and beaches around Paraty, do some cycling when the weather is cloudy, sometimes we take the car and go visit the country side which is so wild and green
Paraty is our little paradise and I love to be there, the landscape is so beautiful, so many beaches and cascades, the colonial town is protected and soon will be Heritage of humanity by UNESCO, the old town is very authentic and pedestrianised. The house is located next the beautiful square Matriz and in front of the Church of Nossa Sra dos Remédios, XVIII century On the other side of the square there is a lot of bars and restaurants, shops etc The atmosphere is so relax and vibrant at the same time The river is just few meters from the house and the sea more few meters further There is so many things you can do in Paraty, swimming, cycling, running, walking, fishing, playing tennis or just relax by the beach and enjoy the sun We have a lot choice of bars and restaurants, pizzas and sushi Kids are always very welcome in Brazil and the local are very friendly and hospitable
