The Retreat at Finca Solana is situated a corner away from Mangrove Park. One of the few remaining public access sea side park. It is in a quiet neighborhood, with lots of new development. Yet, still much of nature is around. You can hear lots of birds, witness flocks of parrots, occasional sighting of Yucatan jays, mangrove cuckoo, awaken by the early calls of the chachalakas, and lucky ones can get a chance to witness the toucans, pygmy owls, and green iguanas. The neighborhood is still home to many native animals and birds. A safe haven for naturalists to enjoy them right from the deck of the Retreat. Its otherwise very quiet and safe, with friendly neighbors with a few roosters and dogs.
