Welcome to our bright, woodsy West Coast Hideaway! Acre By the Sea Guest Suite is a bright and welcoming space, designed for comfort and flexibility. Cozy enough for two, yet spacious enough for up to six guests, it offers the perfect retreat for families, friends, or couples, with sleeping on two levels. This two-floor loft suite offers in a serene garden setting, on a beautiful Oceanview private property. We are located 8km outside of Sooke, South Vancouver Island. The main floor has a private entrance, three-piece bathroom with heated tile floors, kitchenette with new live-edge Acacia wood countertops, dining table, couch, and a very comfortable Queen Murphy Bed (Wall Bed). The large loft bedroom and family room sleeps an additional 4, in queen and double beds; with a comfortable reading and games area, and offers spectacular ocean, sunrise and garden views. Note: Loft area is accessed by a solid wood loft stairs/ladder. Guests with mobility issues may opt to sleep on the main level. This is a non-smoking, pet-free, family-friendly Guest Suite. Your Hosts Don and Melanie live on the property in the main house and are available to assist you. We are happy to provide info about the area and suggestions for activities during your stay. Guests have access to parts of the yard that we call our 'Wildwood', a grassy section with mature alder and fir trees, blackberry bushes, wild bunnies, the occasional deer, and our favourite mossy rock that is home to a fire pit, and pergola, overlooking stunning ocean views, and surrounded by gardens. Enjoy hammocks, comfortable Adirondack chairs and outdoor dining under the wisteria. Guests are also invited to enjoy the sitting area in the spacious front yard with garden and ocean views. Property access is for our paying guests only. In the Neighborhood You will enjoy a rural setting with close proximity to both Nature, and Sooke town amenities (located 8km), and only minutes to several beaches. Nearby activities offer include beach combing, old growth forests and nature trails, charter fishing, horseback riding, whale watching, bike/ kayak/paddle boarding opportunities within minutes. 1 block from Otter Point rocks and small public park with shoreline fishing access.
