Situated in Appenzell’s historic Landsgemeinde Square, Cafe-Hotel Appenzell offers an elegant restaurant with terrace that serves home-baked cakes and regional specialities. All rooms here have cable TV and free Wi-Fi. Located just 23 km south of St. Gallen, all rooms at Appenzell Hotel are equipped with minibar and telephone, and they all have a bathroom with shower. Its elegant café-restaurant serves homemade bread and pastries, and the menu also includes regional specialities prepared with fresh and seasonal ingredients. A buffet breakfast is also available at the café every morning. The hotel is located on a pedestrian area and its terrace is on the street, directly in front of the building. The distance to the Railway Station is just 500 metres and Appenzell Cafe-Hotel also offers a free bike rental service.

- regional public transport and some cable cars
- tennis courts
- bicycle hire
- cheese tasting session
