Opening January 2019 Guest room on the ground floor (accessible via ramp and stairs – see photo) in a family house in the countryside, about a 20-minute walk from the center of Avenches. Facilities: 140 cm bed, table with 2 chairs, small wardrobe, flat-screen TV, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, underfloor heating, electric shutters. Private bathroom with shower in the hallway opposite. Towels included. The guest room is part of a sustainable constructed new building, because rainwater (only for WC and garden irrigation) and solar energy are used here for everyday needs. Ground floor and first floor do not require any additional peripheral insulation, as the basic construction was completely made from locally produced thermo brick and the walls from inside and outside were equipped with biological mineral plaster / paint.
