The family-run Continental Parkhotel is located 200 metres south of the main railway station of Lugano, where the funicular leaves regularly for the city centre. All rooms are air-conditioned and non-smoking and are equipped with soundproofed windows. The comfort rooms are located in the annex building and the superior rooms in the main building of the Continental Parkhotel. La Veranda à la carte restaurant or in summer Grotto & Ronco dei Bianchi Distillery, with warm Ticino specialties, open from 6.30pm to 10.00pm. The buildings of the surrounding Ronco dei Bianchi historical vineyard have been carefully restored and house a distillery, a cellar for the wine production, the agricultural museum and the grotto restaurant.
