Situated above the skiing town of Grindelwald, Hotel Sonnenberg is a beautiful Swiss chalet offering comfortable accommodation with free Wi-Fi and stunning view of the Eiger mountain. The cosy guest rooms all have a private bathroom and a telephone. In addition some rooms have balconies giving panoramic mountain views. Breakfast is served in the Sonneberg’s restaurant. Guests can also benefit from the many restaurants in Grindelwald which is 5-minute’s walk away. Please note that from the hotel restaurant and its terrace the Eiger can be seen but not from every room. In the winter the local skiing is excellent, and in summer Hotel Sonnenberg is the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area on foot or by bike. A ski deposit room in the centre of Grindelwald is available for a surcharge. Hotel Sonnenberg is a 5-minute walk from the train station.

Please note that parking is available next to Chalet Berg Idyll. Hotel Sonnenberg is 200 metres away (slight uphill walk).
If you arrive with children, please inform the property about their number and age. You can use the Special Requests box when booking or contact the property.
When arriving by train, please refer to the signs and walk straight up opposite the train station. It is not recommended to use a navigational device for walking to the hotel.
Please note that check-in after 19:00 is only possible upon prior confirmation by the property and at a surcharge.
