**In alignment with public health recommendations, Special Places managed properties are taking measures which include enhanced cleaning and disinfection procedures** The stunning beachfront Marina Cove 612 in Flamingo is huge, with three bedrooms and three baths, and it’s as elegant as they come. Two bedrooms have king-size beds (one with a TV), and one has two smaller beds. The living room furniture is new and plush, and the décor is beautiful. The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops and walls, rich golden-brown cabinets, a dishwasher and a giant refrigerator. There’s air conditioning, a washer/dryer and a big flatscreen TV in the living room. With views of manicured gardens and the tranquil Potrero Bay, this place is beautiful inside and out. Many guests have told us this feels less like a place to stay and more like a home. Flamingo Flamingo is a high-end beachfront community notable for its dazzling ocean views and the beautiful, hilly peninsula that juts out into the Pacific, separating Playa Potrero from Playa Flamingo. Flamingo is home to a wide array of stunning homes and vacation rentals, as well as humbler lodging options, and it has restaurants, grocery stories, banks and other conveniences. Construction began in December 2019 on a state-of-the-art marina that is expected to lead to an economic boom in this already prosperous town. Other recent developments here include the opening of the 360 Splendor del Pacifico luxury condominiums on the very top of the North Ridge, plus the rebranding of the all-inclusive Flamingo Beach Resort as a Margaritaville, inspired by the lyrics and laid-back lifestyle of Jimmy Buffett. Good restaurants in town include the Coco Loco, a beachfront eatery known for its coconut drinks and standout cuisine; Marie’s, a reliable standard with a long and enticing menu; Angelina’s, featuring fine Italian dining in an elegant environment; and several options at the Margaritaville, including the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill. Flamingo was largely developed by foreigners, and it lacks the traditional Costa Rican downtown with a soccer field plaza, church and school. The heart of town is an upscale commercial plaza with stone steps, fountains, restaurants and shops. Farther away on the road to Brasilito, you’ll find smaller restaurants, hotels, banks, a Comaco hardware store, the Jungle Gym fitness center, and the upscale grocery store Super Massai. Flamingo is more or less the centerpiece of a beautiful coastline stretching from the Reserva Conchal resort in the south to the Las Catalinas resort in the north, with the more traditional Costa Rican towns of Brasilito and Potrero in between. Flamingo is within easy striking distance of several dazzling beaches, including Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Penca, Prieta, Sugar and Danta. Flamingo Beach is perfect for Families that want to enjoy the beautiful beach with lots of good people around; the towns next to it are very friendly, lots of Locals that will warmly welcome you.

As part of the verification, you will need to choose between paying a refundable security deposit (which includes a non-refundable 2% processing fee) or purchasing a non-refundable damage waiver, which protects you in case of accidental damage during your stay. We strongly recommend the damage waiver, as it provides peace of mind and avoids tying up funds with a deposit. Both the TRUVI verification and your selection of either the deposit or the damage waiver must be completed prior to your arrival. Refunds are determined by cancellation policies, and in addition, SPCR charges a 5% cancellation fee over the total booking amount or a minimum of USD 75 and added 13%, plus any applicable merchant fees. This will be withheld from any refund on a deposit. Refunds will be processed to the credit card on file, or via wire transfer if deposit was made by wire transfer. SPCR recommends travel insurance to cover any unforeseeable contingencies.
