Behind the home is 5 hectares of jungle, pasture with cows and forest for you to explore on foot. This area is private and is for you to use while visiting and provides a nice privacy buffer if you would prefer to lounge in the hammock under the rancho! The front terrace offers a peek a boo view of the ocean and of course of the local passerbyers. We find many things unique about staying at Casa Maria: the locals in the community surrounding you, the occasional Saturday night soccer game complete with CR food and music (always quiet by 9pm), neighbors riding by on horseback, proximity to the neighboring coffee farm for a tour, cows coming to the back fence to feed, milder temps with a nice breeze, drinking coffee that was grown within 500 mts of your house and the opportunity to fetch a fresh coconut from the tree in the yard.
