🏡 The Story of Cottage Lucie – a Home with Soul and Family Heritage Cottage Lucie dates back to the late 18th century and originally served as a farmstead with a pig enclosure. The family lived in a single large ground-floor room heated by a massive stove used for cooking and sleeping. That rustic, cozy feel remains to this day. Our family purchased the cottage in the 1980s and fully renovated it—for our own use initially. With respect for its history, we preserved its charm while upgrading it for modern comfort. Today, Cottage Lucie includes a sauna, fireplace, pool, barbecue, fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, two toilets, and four separate bedrooms. Over time, we felt it would be a shame for the cottage to sit unused—so we decided to share it with travelers seeking an authentic and comfortable home with a story. Cottage Lucie is ideal for families with children, groups of friends, and multigenerational getaways. We hope you'll feel right at home here—in a house where history lives on.
