Boasting views of Germany’s highest mountain, the Zugspitze, this hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen allows direct access to hiking routes, cross-country skiing trails and is 800 metres from the ski resort. The Alpenhof Garnihotel & Ferienwohnungen offers en suite rooms and apartments. A hearty breakfast is served in the morning in the Tiroler Stube room or on the terrace. The town is located close to the A95 motorway and has railway connections to Munich, Innsbruck, Reutte and the Zugspitze. Other destinations worth a visit such are the Ettal monastery, the town of Oberammergau, Neuschwanstein castle and Linderhof palace.
