Opening in January 2016, Hotel Hafenspeicher is located in the East-Frisian town of Leer. The 4-star hotel combines a historic storehouse and a modern extension. The hotel lies in Leer town centre, directly on the leisure harbour. The pedestrian zone and Old Town district can both be reached within a 2-minute walk. Guests at the Hotel Hafenspeicher enjoy great transport connections thanks to the nearby train station and the large number of the hotel's car parking spaces. There is also a lockable garage for bikes free of charge. The Hotel Hafenspeciher is a great base for exploring the East-Frisian islands, the nearby Netherlands and cycle tours such as the Deutsche Fehnroute and the International Dollard Route. Many businesses, shops, hospitals and institutions are also located nearby.
