The family-run Gasthof Falkenstein offers typical Bavarian food, free WiFi, and rooms with balconies. It is a 4-minute walk from Flintsbach Train Station and has a free car park. The Falkenstein is set in a traditional Bavarian building dating from 1750. The individually furnished rooms feature rustic décor and a private bathroom. A varied breakfast buffet is available at the Falkenstein each morning. Fresh meat and sausage products are provided by the Metzgerei Schwaiger butcher’s shop. Guests can relax in the Falkenstein's sauna, in the shady beer garden or on the terrace overlooking the Chiemgau Alps. Gasthof Falkenstein is a 60 minutes walk from St. Peter's Abbey on the Madron. The A93 motorway can be reached in 5 minutes, providing easy access to Lake Chiemsee and the Austrian border.
