This guesthouse has been family-run since 1831 and is set in Zell im Fichtelgebirge. It features modern rooms and has a pretty garden. Gasthof Rotes Roß offers traditional Franconian specialities. Guests can enjoy a local beer or wine in the beer garden. This cyclist-friendly hotel is situated at the foot of the Waldstein Mountain in Zell, at the begining of the Saaleradwanderweg hiking and cycling trail. The guest house's peaceful surrounding area is also suitable for relaxing strolls in summer and through the snowy winter wonderland. Waldstein Mountain with its castle ruins, a beautiful look-out point as well as the Bärenfang building, formerly used for catching bears. The A9 motorway is located 8 km from Gasthof Rotes Roß.
