This family-run hotel is located in picturesque Bavarian alpine surroundings, 1 km from the centre of Mittenwald. Free WiFi and private sauna is possible daily for an extra charge and by prior arrangement, unfortunately, it is not possible to book a sauna on the day of arrival as well as bike hire and ski storage. The bright non-smoking rooms at Hotel-Garni Drachenburg are decorated in neutral colours, some featuring a terrace or balcony. Each room offers a TV, a seating area and a private bathroom. A breakfast buffet is served every morning. Guests have various dining and drinking opportunities within 1 km walk. The guest house also provides a sled rental service. Hotel-Garni Drachenburg is situated directly next to several cross-country skiing and hiking trails. Popular excursions include hiking or cycling to Elmau Castle via Lake Lautersee and Ferchensee (90 minutes).
