This family-run, country hotel lies in the centre of the village of Wiesenbronn, at the foot of the Steigerwald, in the wine-growing region of Lower Franconia. The Landhotel und Weingasthof Schwarzer Adler belongs to the Neubauer family and has been family-run for 5 generations since 1863. The Schwarzer Adler provides an idyllic base for wonderful hikes in the surrounding countryside characterised by forests or vineyards. You can go cycling along the Main, or make convenient day-trips to Würzburg, Rothenburg or Nuremberg. The bright and cosy rooms are all situated in the Landhotel, and can be easily reached by lift. The historic vintner's house is to the rear of the hotel and offers charming rooms in the standard category. Get your day off to a perfect start with the buffet breakfast, and be sure to try the hotel’s own home-made jams. The restaurant serves seasonal Franconian cuisine which is prepared from fresh, local ingredients. Round off your meals with a wine from the house vineyard or the region, or enjoy the inner courtyard in summer. Thanks to its function rooms, the Schwarzer Adler is also a suitable venue for hosting business events and family occasions.
