The apartment is on the THIRD FLOOR. There is NO LIFT. The apartment has been recently refurbished, to include 3 good size bedrooms (2 with ceiling fans), 2 shower rooms, a comfortable open-plan sitting room (with ceiling fan), dining room and kitchen. The installation of a lift in the building is planned for later in the year, followed by redecoration to the entrance hall and stairways, which are currently looking tired and scruffy. The apartment is on the 3RD FLOOR of a community building (there is no lift), occupied mainly by families and older residents. LOUD MUSIC AND PARTIES ARE NOT PERMITTED. The sitting room and main bedrooms have good quality, quiet and effective, ceiling fans. Each room has large doors giving access to a small balcony. Facilities for babies are NOT presently available. PARKING The property is located in a pedestrianized area. It is possible to access the property by car to unload luggage etc, and the hosts are happy to assist with these arrangements, but parking is not possible. The nearest paid parking is available at `Parking Historic` in Carrer de Montcada, which is a 2 minute walk. There is free on-street parking, a few minutes walk away, and a large free car park close to the Pavello Firal de Remolins, which is a 10 minute walk. The hosts can provide further information, if required.

We would like to welcome you to our apartment in the historic centre of Tortosa. Although this is a newly opened property, we are experienced hosts, having owned another property nearby, with a guest review score of 9.6, of which we are very proud. We are very keen to ensure that our guests have a comfortable stay. We have lived in Tortosa for just over 8 years, and we love the City. It has so many interesting places to visit, and, if you want to, you can walk to most of them. We are happy to share our experience with regard to places to visit and activities, including walking/hiking in the mountans close to the City, or in Els Ports, and cycling on the Via Verda.

The building is located in the historic centre of Tortosa, less than 200 metres from the Cathedral, and a few minutes walk from the river and various restaurants and bars. It is easy walking distance to the main shopping area, the municipal market, and many more bars, restaurants, and the majority of the City´s architectiral and tourist facilities. The apartment has a ringside seat for several events and festivals, including "Processó de la Passió" at Easter, and the hugely popular "Festa del Renaixement" (around the third week of July). There is very easy access (with or without a car) to the Via Verda for cycling, and walking at Coll d´Alba, in the mountains behind the City. By car, there is easy access to Els Ports for walking/hiking, a variety of interesting villages, and of course nearby beaches and the Ebro Delta.
