There is a luxury kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 modern bathrooms, double glazing, air conditioning and a brand-new interior. A staircase in the living room takes you to the highlight of La Palmita: the 160 m2 roof terrace! Since the temperature in Tazacorte rarely drops below 20º, even in winter, you will spend most of your time here. The roof terrace has dining table and lounge furniture, sun loungers and a gas barbecue. There is shared swimming pool. The building has an elevator.

In 2003 we emigrated from the Netherlands to France, where we were the owners of a small hotel in Burgundy. But after 15 years we got the itch to embark on one more venture, before we would become too old to do so. For many years we have spent our holidays on la Palma and from the beginning, we felt very at home on this beautiful island. That is why we sold our hotel in 2018 and subsequently bought Finca Paraiso, which consisted of 2 holiday homes and a house for ourselves. After a complete renovation, we welcomed our first guests in October 2018. Unfortunately, the volcanic eruption of the Cumbre Vieja on La Palma in September changed everything. Finca Paraíso, our own house and all our belongings disappeared under the lava on the second day of the eruption. After a difficult period, in May 2022 we bought the penthouse-apartment La Palmita in Tazacorte, with a superb roof terrace of 160m2 with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains. We no longer live on site, but are nearby when needed or desired. We look forward to welcoming guests again on La Palma as from 1st of August 2022, now in our atico La Palmita in Tazacorte! The penthouse apartment La Palmita is quietly located on the edge of Tazacorte, within walking distance (300 m) from cafes, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Tazacorte is a small, characteristic Canarian village with beautiful, colorful facades, old colonial houses, peaceful little squares and narrow alleys. There is a small beach just below Tazacorte Pueblo which can be reached after a 15-minute walk through the banana plantations. But the long beach of Tazacorte Puerto is not far away either. With a distance of about 2 kms and a height difference of 100 m it is still within walking distance. And within a 10 minutes’ drive, you are at the cosy Plaza de España in Los Llanos.
