This hotel occupies a former mill located in Isabel la Católica Park, in the Asturian city of Gijón. It has a pretty pond, and San Lorenzo Beach and the Cimadevilla fishing district are a 10-minute walk away. The Parador de Gijón has bright, elegant interiors, including large windows with views of the sea. The Parador's restaurant serves typical Asturian cuisine, including the well-known Fabada stew and fresh local seafood and fish. Desserts include homemade rice pudding and frixuelos (cream-filled crepes). The Parador de Gijón hotel is well-located in the city for exploring the port area and the historical centre. Gijón is an ideal base for exploring the lovely Asturian coastline, including nearby charming fishing towns.
